Colour Theory

There are different terminology for colours on a color wheel.

Analogous: Colours that sit next to each other on a color wheel, for example purple and blue, or orange and yellow.

Monochromic: The same colour, but a different shade such as different shades of red varying from black to white.

Triadic: Three colours that are of equal distance from one another on the color wheel, e.g, red, green, and blue.

Complimentary: Colours that sit opposite each other on a color wheel.
